We start with a meeting where we establish the framework: how you are, how you live, and what you value. Then we analyse your local market to identify suppliers and materials available to you, and we create a design that can be realised through a trusted retailer near you.
The result will be a functional and beautiful kitchen that is truly unique to you.
The process
Even though we follow a process, it is not a fixed package.
Every kitchen, and home, has its own needs.
That’s why we create and shaped this journey together around the following steps:
Consultation Meeting
A 30-minute introductory meeting to understand your needs and ensure that a Carl Edwins kitchen design is the right choice for you. Based on this meeting, we prepare your personal proposal for the project.
Design Meeting
Once the proposal is accepted, we begin with a 1–2 hour online meeting where we explore your lifestyle, visions, and ideas. We ask questions to understand your needs in depth, and you are welcome to share photos or inspiration if you have any. We also look at your home, and we collect the necessary measurements with your help.
Concept Design
Based on our meeting, the Carl Edwins team creates your kitchen concept.
Sketches, plans, and mood studies designed exclusively for your home.
Presentation
Within two to three weeks of the design meeting, we present the first drafts in a 30-minute online session.
Here, we walk you through our thoughts, the design logic, and our vision for your kitchen.
Follow-Up Meeting
One to two weeks later, we schedule another 30-minute meeting to discuss your reflections.
This gives you time to absorb the design, consider the details, and evaluate both the pros and cons.
Revision
We refine and adjust the design based on the follow-up meeting to complete the final drawings.
Delivery
We deliver all drawings, visualizations, materials, and documents digitally.
Everything you need to take the design to your local supplier and begin the realisation of your new kitchen.
Renovation
You start the project with your local supplier and installer.
We remain available to assist with any questions regarding the design or materials throughout the process.
For whom
Our kitchen design service is for those who refuse to compromise and who value both design and functionality.
The design fee starts at €5,000 (up to €9,000) and it is finalized after the first consultation meeting. You are under no obligation to proceed beyond the consultation, but to move forward to the design meeting, we must have an agreement in place.
To ensure the quality of our work, we take on only a limited number of projects.
